Funny that you should ask that Adam.

It's a mirror image of her brother 'Icarus' in the sense that the clutch will provide HYPOMELANISTIC hetero Lavender, Amel, Anery, Diffused.

hmmmm...........sounds a little familiar does it not |D

There's a slight 'tweak' to this pairing, therefore, rather than congest this Thread I shall continue via e-mail ;)

I honestly don'tknow whether to be envious or relieved that it's not us with those clutch sizes!

(Right now I'm leaning more towards relieved)

But congratulations!

You should talk..............just wait a while & you too will have an incubator full of Pantherophis guttatus hatchlings |D

Cheers 'guys'. Lex

This morning brings great joy to the Breeding line as 'Freyja', our foundation lady, is presenting beautiful 'pearly white' eggs as I type.

Her partner Orion, the forefather of our Pied-Sided & White-Sided lineage, was pre-maturely retired from the Breeding Programme in 2008.

It's great to now know that it was an error to retire this male as the fertile clutch proves that he is a capable Sire.

Here is a photo of Freyja:

I will give you an up date of the numbers when she has completed her task :fw:

23 Fertile Eggs, not one slug amongst them, therefore, Orion is being re-instated as a prolific stud ;)

And today brings forth yet another clutch of beauties ;)

LAVENDER STRIPE 'Vanishing Pattern' hetero Amel Prometheus x CARAMEL MOTLEY hetero Amel:

This will be interesting to see if the Vanishing pattern affects any of the progeny this year.

In 2009 we paired up this male to a different female & the clutch numbers were small, therefore, a true picture of the visual effect could not be defined.

Here's the clutch folks _ 22 Fertile Eggs:

And the next in line is the:

CARAMEL MOTLEY X STRIPE hetero Amelanistic ph Anerythristic x BUTTER STRIPE hetero Anerythristic

Now, to make thangs simple we shall just write the definate gene progeny here:

CARAMEL MOTLEY hetero Amelanistic
CARAMEL STRIPE hetero Amelanistic
BUTTER MOTLEY
BUTTER STRIPE

The clutch = 18 Fertile Eggs.

If the Anerythristic gene is present in the female, the clutch may present:

ANERYTHRISTIC CARAMEL STRIPE or MOTLEY
AXANTHIC BUTTER STRIPE or MOTLEY

The 1st option would definately be a bonus for the folks who are listed for progeny from our Anery Caramel Motley 'Ebony' ;)

Today we see the LARGE clutch from our GRANITE lady; she did only accept 1 mating therefore there's no doubt that this lineage is prolific |D

An 'In House' Lexcorn strain as follows:-

PLATINUM hetero Amelanistic 'Lobo' x GRANITE hetero Hypomelanistic, Charcoal, Amelanistic

Here is the lady:
